One of the attractions in Kuala Lumpur you that you’ll find on any “must see” guides is the Batu caves. If you’re travelling to Malaysia to see which countries are the best to retire cheap, you should definitely see this attraction. Here’s how to get there.
First take a LRT from KL Sental to the kommuter line. This will cost you $1 (35 rm). Super easy, the signs are large and in English.
The Kommuter line is another air conditioned monorail system. The ride itself is really comfortable. Nice seats, and lots of leg room there’s no need to avoid it. I was debating taking an Uber since there were 3 of us. Don’t bother, the transit routes are great.
The ride itself is roughly 40 minutes. They’ll announce all the stops, so there’s no chance of missing your stop.
And just like that you’re there. Hello batu caves !
